Description:
This SMAOffsetProtectOptV1Mod strategy is a trend-trading strategy specifically designed for cryptocurrency trading which uses a combination of moving averages, Elliott Wave Oscillator, and Relative Strength Index as indicators for making buy and sell decisions. This strategy involves using the base_nb_candles_buy and base_nb_candles_sell parameters to define the length of the trend buy and sell lines respectively. It also uses two additional parameters, the low_offset and high_offset, for defining when a buy or sell signal is triggered. The ewo_low and ewo_high parameters are used to define the range of the Elliot Wave Oscillator after which a buy signal is triggered. The strategy also defines a specific RSI_buy parameter which acts as a cutoff below which a buy signal is triggered. Finally, the strategy also features a trailing_stop functionality which automatically closes the position when the trail passes a specified position.
