Macd Strategy Performance Results

Description:

The Macd Strategy uses two indicators: the MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence) line, which is a trend following indicator used to determine momentum and trend direction, and the MACD signal line, which is a 9-period exponential moving average (EMA) of the MACD line. This allows us to understand when the momentum of a given asset’s price action is slowing or when the trend is changing and a reversal is likely in the near future. The Macd strategy puts buy positions when the MACD line is greater than 0 and the MACD signal line is greater than the MACD line. It put sell positions when the MACD line is lower than 0. Additionally, the Macd strategy applies a custom stoploss: when the profit is above 0.3, then the stoploss goes down to 0.01 + current profit. Otherwise, the stoploss is set to -0.1. This strategy is suitable for 1 hour timeframe and it looks for informative pairs using the original whitelist.
