wtc Strategy Performance Results

Description:

This strategy is a combination of the Exponential Moving Average (EMA), Price Channel Indicator (PCI), Stochastic Oscillator and Weighted Trend Confirmation Index (WT1). The EMAs provide a general target trend for the asset and the Price Channel Indicator provide a confirmation that the asset is trading in an uptrend or a downtrend. Then, the Stochastic Oscillator adds an additional layer of trend confirmation by analyzing the momentum of the asset. Lastly, the Weighted Trend Confirmation Index adds a third layer of trend confirmation by analyzing the combined data from the EMAs and Price Channel Indicator. Once the conditions for all three indicators have been met, a buy signal is generated. Sell signals are generated when the conditions for the same three indicators are found in a downtrend. The parameters of the buy and sell signals are adjustable to suit even volatile markets, as well as different trading strategies. The strategy also takes into account the market volatility, by using a stoploss value and a minimal ROI value to ensure profitability in any market conditions.
