Ichimoku_v37 Strategy Performance Results
Description:
This freqtrade strategy is the Ichimoku_v37, which is a trend-following momentum strategy that uses the Ichimoku Cloud indicator. This indicator uses four main components to determine the trend of a currency pair, namely the conversion line, base line, leading span A, and leading span B. This strategy combines these components to buy and sell signals. To generate buy signals, it uses the criteria that the 4 hour candlestick close must cross above the conversion line or leading span A when the cloud is green and the 4 hour candlestick close must cross above the base line or leading span B when the cloud is red. To generate sell signals, it uses the criteria that the 4 hour candlestick close must be below the conversion line and leading span A or below the base line and leading span B. This strategy also uses the Heikin-Ashi technique to smooth out the data before it is applied to the Ichimoku indicator to make sure that any signals are more reliable. This strategy also includes the stoploss order type with a stop loss set at -0.99 to make sure that the trader minimizes the losses.
